Our Reservation Policy
All flights must be reserved in advance. Requests are acceptable by phone, fax or email. Funds must be collected upon date of reservation or may be held with a credit card. Funds are due prior to departure* of any non-cancelled** flight. Early reservations are recommended, to ensure availability. (*or per voucher agreement) (**Cancellations as per Cancellation Policy).
Voucher Policy :
Operators who reserve for a third party are expected to abide by our Reservation Policy, on our behalf. Once the flight is booked, our Cancellation Policy takes effect and ensures that customers are liable for the funds due for their flight reservation. Vouchers may not be exchanged for cash at The Helicopter Company Inc.
Cancellation Policy:
Once a flight is booked, the tour date & time for which this is booked is firm. No changes or cancellations for this date & time will be accepted within 14 days of the selected date&time. Any cancellations on booked flights within 14 to 7 days of the date & time will incur a fee of 50% of package price as a cancellation fee. Any cancellations made less than 7 days from the booked flight will incur a 100% cancellation fee. Clients who have reservations who arrive late risk missing their flight entirely. The Helicopter Company Inc is not responsible for missed flights. Clients who arrive for their flight on time but demonstrate behavoir that may put the safety of the flight operations at risk will be barred from approaching the aircraft at the discretion of the Crew and no refund will be issued. This is non-negotiable.
The Helicopter Company reserves the right to cancel any flights in it's absolute discretion on or before the date of the flight. Cancellations may occur if the weather is too poor to fly, if local airspace becomes temporarily restricted or if The Helicopter Company Inc. deems any flight to be unsafe under any circumstances. In the event of cancellation by The Helicopter Company, the company will implement it’s "Weather Refund Policy". You will either be offered a certificate good for 30 days or a new flight time within 30 days of booked date, your choice. No refunds are payable on unused portions of flights. These conditions cannot be varied or altered or waived by any servant or agent or representative of The Helicopter Company. The Helicopter Company will not be bound by any representation purported to have been made on their behalf unless they confirm or have confirmed in writing.
Alterations:
Any scheduling or package alterations made by the customer or on behalf of the customer less than 14 days before the date&time of the flight may be subject to the cancellation charges as deemed appropriate by The Helicopter Company Inc. The policy guideline for such fees or penalties shall follow that of the published "Cancellation Policy" as above herein.
Liability:
The Helicopter Company is not liable for and denies any responsibility for personal injury or property damage arising out of the activities when on site. The Helicopter Company and their agents and representatives are not responsible and expressly disclaim any liability for any injury, damage, loss, delay, change in itinerary or schedules, additional expense, inconvenience or irregularity, whether to person or property incurred during their activity in connection with or relating to the supply or omission of air, sea, land, transportation services, or other accommodations, facilities, meals, other services or illness of a client.
The Helicopter Company will not be responsible or liable (for damages, refund or otherwise) for;
Government actions, weather, acts of God, strikes, compulsory quarantine or other circumstances beyond its control.
The failure of the client to obtain required documentation (e.g. passports, visas, health certificates)
The failure of the client to follow instructions including but not limited to check-in and checkout places and times.
Should you or any member of your party suffer serious illness, personal injury or death, through any misadventure out of any activity which does not form part of our arrangements, nor part of any excursion sold by us, we shall offer you every assistance we can, with respect to a maximum of the for our activity. All requests for assistance must be made within 30 days from the date of misadventure. Assistance is given at our reasonable discretion.
Force Majeure :
The Helicopter Company accepts no responsibility for and shall not be liable in respect of any loss or damage from alterations, delays or changes arising from unusual and unforeseeable circumstances, beyond its control, such as war or threat of war, riot civil strife, industrial dispute including air traffic control disputes, terrorist activity, natural and nuclear disaster fire or adverse weather conditions, technical problems with transport, closure or congestion of airports or ports.
Minimum Numbers :
All packages involve a specific number of passengers as required. Please refer to Tours page for minimum requirements for each flight package. Single-ticket-buyers may select a reservation or stand-by status. Singles on stand-by may book as single seats become available. Single-ticket-buyers are very welcome here at The Helicopter Company, and we will do our best to try to accommodate them.
Sales Agreement :
Purchase of our products and services implies and deems agreement to terms herein.
